Epic Training (UMMC's Electronic Health Record)
UMMC utilizes Epic, an electronic health record. Affiliated students/instructors who require Epic access for learning experiences at UMMC must complete an online course for Epic security access through Canvas, UMMC's learning management system. UMMC Epic trainers will send instructions to affiliated students/instructors and their affiliated program coordinators via their external email accounts. Affiliated students/instructors should log in to Canvas to access the assigned training modules.
Some affiliated roles within UMMC may require Epic training in the classroom setting. UMMC Epic trainers will contact affiliated instructors or affiliated program coordinators by email or phone with details of class dates and times.
For technical issues about Epic access and training, please contact EPICStudentTraining@umc.edu.
